It is a small piece of cloth unlike any other. This one took the French colours quite high during the French-American mission on board the Discovery space shuttle from June 17 to 24 in 1985. This is Patrick Baudry’s space suit badge. Baudry himself gave one piece to a close acquaintance when the mission was completed, who in turn gifted it to a family member and who today is parting with it.

Those who appreciate and are passionate about badges and the space exploration will recognize that given its craftsmanship this piece is not a copy and is more than a mere collectable item.
