This is a small flag measuring approximately 60 cm by 40 cm that airplanes displayed at the cockpit once on the ground. It features the logo of the French airline T.A.I. (Transports Aériens Intercontinentaux), but it predates it. Just as Air France adopted The Air Orient logo, T.A.I. adopted the the winged griffin of the airlines which preceded it: R.A.A., Régie Air Afrique (see the dedicated page -in French - on the Amicale UTA website). Both sides of the flag are made up of two pieces of sewn fabric; one has retained very beautiful colors, while the other is a bit faded and shows some stains. This is a museum piece dating back to the late 1930s! A very beautiful and very rare souvenir of the history of French air transports.
