For a change, we present here the model of a missile wind tunnel, quite an interesting piece.

Unlike many missile models that were created but didn’t go into production, this missile was developed and commercialized by MATRA. This is the Super 530D, for which work started in 1979.

The model is made of several test parts:
- The body
- A 4-aft section set with variable orientated fins
- An aft section without fins
- A two head set
- A stand (stem and base.

These parts, once put together, give form to a complete missile as we know it.

Not only do these two blue prints reveal the extreme precision of the models, but they also show the technique involved in their making. This is truly a set of exception of one the most famous air to air French missiles. Matra Super 530D wind tunnel model with 2 original and large blue prints (c. 1979).
