To enhance the presentation of a 1/25 scale model of a Boeing B-747 - 3 meter long - I was tasked with creating landing gears whose position could vary depending on whether the model is on the ground or on its stand.

At first, the parts were designed in 3D, incorporating a system for modifying their position.

The parts were then 3D printed in metal and equipped with remote control model (as requested by the collector) before being securely attached to the model. The result is highly realistic and the model is perfectly highlighted with its landing gear extended.
