This is a large size (1:50) travel agency model of the SNCASE SE 161 “Languedoc” that was produced by La Maquette d’Étude et d’Exposition company. This model was made in wood (wings / fuselage) and in metal (engine cowling / propellers / base). Measurements : Wingspan 58 cm (22.83"), length 49 cm (19.29"), height 33 cm (13"). This is in very good condition due to its age (c. 1945) but it has some small faults. This is one of the firts models of this model produced for Air France: the name of the Company doesn't appears on the body and the propellers don't have spinners.
