- Out-of-Stock
Douglas Factory Model representing the first aircraft delivered in 1955 by Douglas Aircraft Company to Chile. The plane then displayed the full name of the airline "Linea Aérea Nacional - Chile" above the windows. It was the aircraft which was the first to make a commercial flight over the Chilean Antarctic Peninsula. But subsequently the livery changed, the name above the windows became "LAN-Chile" and the acronym "LAN" was affixed on the vertical stabilizer.
The paint on the model has yellowed unevenly and there are a few decor flaws, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 67 year old model and of this size!
Dimensions: wingspan 72 cm, length 64 cm; weight: 5.6 kg.
